I'm using the newer Hooker Blackheart headers with my DSE subframe, and the fit and finish is really amazing. I've got the steering column installed now and the steering shaft fit is excellent. They're about $1400 for full stainless. Not cheap, but good value.
For hooker Header, Long tube 1/7/8 primary
You will need - Clutch Pivot Ball Bracket for GM Cars and Trucks his to bolt on your bell housing might have to clearance the block and bellhousing . I had to do it with mine and space the bracket on the frame one inch out Im using the Hooker stainless long 1 7/8 tube and hooker mounts This is order to get a Manual clutch linkage to work
