Please forgive me if I have posted the in the wrong place. I will be happy if a moderator needs to move it. I am searching for my 73 Z28 - Last I knew of it was 1981 in Memphis, TN. The VIN is 1Q87T3N113215 but I have no idea how to search for it. I talked to my DOT and Sheriff's office with no luck. It was Antique White with Black stripes - It had tilt wheel, automatic, A/C and center console.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Hey, do you happen to know how many digits there are in a 1973 Camaro for VIN? I saw one on eBay and it had one more digit than I have in my post.

I would think your state DOT would be able to help in someway? They probably can't tell you who owns it but could at least tell you if it exist in their data base or when it was last registered. If they no longer have any record of it then it might be sitting in someones garage for decades, registered in another state or has been recycled.
If you're state has no record of it then you're probably at a dead end.

Yes, no luck from DOT - of course it could easily be in another state. Perhaps one day....... :)

Welcome to the forum. I go to a lot of cruise in's around Memphis. We don't have many this time of year; but, I'll keep my eyes open for it.
