The date for the GM Powertrain St. Catharines Auto Show Event is Friday August 7th. 2009. Last year we had over 500 vehicles registered. The Show and Shine is open to all GM powered vehicles and those registering a vehicle are provided with two tickets for a Plant Tour. The first 300 arriving at the show will receive complimentary Goody Bags so don't delay, register today! You can also sign up for a special limited tour of the Engine Dyno Lab.

We have a variety of Vendors as well as an all day BBQ feast with all proceeds given to charity. There is no charge for registration for this one day rain or shine event. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us. Please mark this date on your calendar and hopefully your club will be able to attend! There will be a club participation award so make sure you indicate which Club you belong to.

If you would like to print out our 2009 Car Show Flyer, you may do so HERE.

For those out of town, view directions to McKinnon Park by clicking here.

Spend the weekend here in the Niagara Peninsula and get a taste of Wine Country and if you wish, a little bit of the Casino Niagara.

    Car Crazy in London episode.

Sept 7 , 11 pm ( last night ) was the first showing and also Sept 13/ 14 , 2009 our Cruize club that meets every Thursday is on TV.

Anyone watching Speed TV should catch Barry at Car Crazy he is beginning to show car meets from this summer and was up here for the London meet. Car Crazy came in for the Fleetwood Cruize-In over at Steve Plunketts to shoot all day for an episode.

If any of you catch this show you'll see our weekly meeting place on Thursday nights. We had 3200 for this meet and 10,000 people while our regular weekly meet has 300 plus cars.

I missed it last night so don't know what to tell you. Hoping to catch it on the 13th.

But this is great exposure for our region anytime your on US TV word spreads pretty quick about your car meets. Any the Fleetwood is a very good show but getting very large now making it hard to see in one day.

June 4th, it will be my first time going, but I have been told once you go you are hooked for life. And apparently you cant get through it in one weekend. Acres and acres and acres of cars and hard to find parts, I am looking forward to it. And lots of cold beer, oh yeah.

It happens again in September, thats when you can get your best deals, apparently...because people dont want to pack it all up again and put it in storage for winter, they want to use their trailers for car storage etc. But, regardless if you need it bad enough dont wait buy it, so they tell me.

I am not sure of the dates yet for sept, but I can post it when I find out. If you go, let me know, we could have a beer and yak. I am going with a couple friends who really know their stuff, its going to be great fun. My mechanic is awesome, hes in his 70s and has worked on cars all his life, mostly Corvettes. He is a keener, and a real blast to hang out with. Funny as hell.

Im close to Pembroke, we are leaving thursday the 3rd, taking a camper trailer down, it will be a good time....beer....walk....back for some food and beer and head back out.

I've been and it's incredible. Well worth going. Just make sure that once you see something your interested in, buy it ASAP! Because someone else will get it! I missed out on a bunch of parts because I told myself I'd come back for themlater

thanks, that's good advice. I was told that there will be people right behind you watching ready and willing to buy it, so yeah...definitely taking some cash.
