I'm a fan of diff Rims, you can change the look of your car with out butchering it all up, since I had my car since 79, I'm sick of the Snowflakes, actually hate the 8"ers, every jamoke puts them on his T/A, I'm just not sure where they all come from, lol, now I have my OG's with 1983 Eagles on in stg,
First swap out set was steel wheels painted gold with 78 dog dish, everyone gave me such a hard time I left them on for years, still have these too,
Next swap out set is a numbers 78 SE delete set, a guy walks into my booth at the Natz with one and I bought them on the spot, all original, the caps and rings are more than the rims,
( btw, Mongo is a Detroit guy that refinishes alum rims, Mongo's rim jobs, lol)
Anyway, let's see your car with diff rims, I'll dig my pics out.
Always wanted the alum Z wheels, painted gold, the 78-79 type. Love those.

3rd gen 15" 5-star wheels plasti-dipped. I've always loved these wheels, but if money were no option I'd be all over some Cragar Soft-8s. Some day that dream will come true...

The factory wheels on my 80 Berlinetta were chrome with wire basket hubcaps!
(The baskets were long gone when I bought the car and the chrome wheels were rusted.)

I eventually replaced them with Black N90s... 14" in front and 15" (Z28) in the rear.

While they are technically GM factory wheels... They weren't what came on the car and they look SO much better than the "born with" wheels. (IMHO)
