Is this the right one - 396 cui. 1968 ??

    Hey there.
    Thank you for my new membership on this page.
    I have a question on a Chevy Bigblock, it's said to be a 1968 396cui. to a Camaro -
    does it look right ??

    From the numbers I believe it is a 1968 396 from a full size car. The IV code wasn't used for Camaro engines, only for full size cars.

    The "T" in the block stamp sequence is the vehicle assembly plant. That will narrow down what vehicle it came in.
    Look up what vehicles were built at "T" in 1968 model year and you will figure it out.

    T = Tarrytown NY. Probably Impala/Caprice.
