IMG_1045.JPG IMG_1041.JPG IMG_1036.JPG IMG_1042.JPG Hi Guys! Brand new to the 2nd gen Camaro Scene. My dad bought a 1977 Camaro from a owner that did not know much about it. It's on the rough side of things and is a roller. However, when I was pulling the backseat to start on floorpans, I found the buildsheet. What seemed odd to me is that it's a just a Sport Coupe. However, the build sheet says it came with a LM1 350 4 Barrel and the F41 Suspension Package. And it also came with a 3.42 Posi. And it was installed with American Hatch T-Tops by the looks of a dealer in 1977 with a label in the door jam. It also has numerous other options. Is this rare for just a sport coupe? Here's some pictures. Sorry the sheet is rough. I can get more pictures of the sheet and pictures of the car if wanted or needed.

The Z28 was discontinued from the Camaro from the 1975 model until midway through the 1977 model so for about the first half of the 1977 year, the only way to get the LM1 engine was by ordering it in the Sport Coupe or other models. By mid year, the Z28 again became available and was standard with those options.

Are you sure this build sheet matches the car? Double check the VIN.

Looks like the build sheet shows 15" tires. (A sport coupe should have had 14" tires.)

Did the F41 suspension package include 15" wheels/tires?

Cool to see you got the pulse wiper system. Can you shoot a pic of that switch in the dash panel?

The sheet matches the car. The wheels were kind of faded on the sheet. I'll look when I get a chance here.

I'll get some more pictures of the car later today. I just thought it was odd that a sport coupe would have all these options. It's pretty much a Z28...

Probably like Gary said, had to order the stuff separate to get into the Z28 territory. Don't know about those T-tops on a second gen though. Might really weaken the car structure? More pictures!
