So far I'v been using an old portable air compressor to run my air chisel but it can never keep up. the one I have now is like 10 gal and 4cfm @ 90psi i think. anyhow I wanted to up grade cause im at the point where i'm gonna need an air sander and good paint gun ect. I saved up $800 and was talking to a guy at tsc, he recommended this one. anyone know if it would be any good? or should I be pointed in another direction?;-60-gallon-cast-iron-air-compressor

edit: could an admin change the thread type, I accidently posted in the swap meet section and can't figure out how I change this, thanks.

Have one similar that is a Home Depot brand & it works great.Remember to get a air dryer to go with it to protect your equipment.

I bought an Ingersoll Rand 80 Gal from TSC and it is probably the most important tool I bought since starting this project. I would not skimp out on the compressor if you are going to do any long term stuff like sand blasting, etc. The lesser ones can work, but you have to stop and wait and I am not that patient.

I would plan on spending $1000 at least.
