^ actually the trim tag , as fake as it, was conjured up for a light blue metallic ( paint code 24 for 73) with a black vinyl roof ( A) on the upper body color code. unless they changed it again!

    here is their reply:

We have already researched that and found some inconsistancies in '73...the
trim tag states "Z28"...It is not a matching numbers type car
    anyways...just a very nice driver!

I really doubt the auction will go though with an actual sale. Some local yokle will stop by and buy it I hope. With so much BS and story telling to start with , I know I don't trust the majority of the bids to be real either. Surely the members of this site aren't the only ones wise enought to see though such auctions.

I emailed the seller, and told him that his car is not a z28, with no letter "T" as the fifth diget, his reply "Thanks!"

No wonder used car dealers in general have such a bad rep. , they earn it.

Of course he doesn't want to talk to you guys, most dishonest antique dealers in any field do not. FIrst of all, they don't like it when somebody else knows as much about their market and items as they do....this bugs the crap out of them....they are looking for ignorant suckers to sell to. They want to do their dirty deeds unnoticed , and will never say anything that might comeback to haunt them latter. Just to hard to earn an honest dollar for them.

eBay is littered with double talking , dishonest vintage sellers of everything under the sun .

He wishes you'll would just "GO AWAY" and leave him to his dirty dealing. eBay is the perfect hidding hole for butt holes of this sort.
