Here are some clips from 5/27/17 at a fun track in Wilcox, Arizona. I've been there twice before learning to drive this track but turned up the intensity this time. It was a fun day! It amazes me how a 1971 Camaro street (yes it is) with bolt on parts can run this well.

Very cool Bill. My son was driving the purple modified this session he ran a 1.54. I have ran a 1.52 in the orange camaro. You were way faster than the modified.. you were running 1.49-1.50's? Awesome job. (need to learn heal and toe!) I should take a picture of the orange car's gas pedal modification, it is easy to heal toe in that car.
BTW, the orange car got a new engine today!

Hi Dale, I figured it was your son cause I saw you standing outside the car on the grid. I clocked a 1.48 by the stopwatch but will run a transponder next time. The two ACR Vipers were running 1:47 and 1:49 laps. I hear you on the heel and toe! It just takes so much pedal pressure to stop that car that I'm not sure I could do it.

A smaller bore master will help the pedal pressure. Neg. is, pedal travel will increase.
Less than a 1.50 is flying! Awesome!

Drivers can run Porsche Club DE's in Shorts in the Lower Groups (at least in Florida) because of the Heat!

This is with Pro Auto Sports. I have ran with NASA, Speed Ventures, and Desert Street Cars in shorts. NASA is the only group that will tech you and your car. I do not know of a HPDE group that requires long pants... they may recommend them.

I've been to many road courses throughout the country and have never seen this allowed, some will allow short sleeve shirts but still require at least pants.
To each their own I guess, I hope you never experience a car fire, it gets inside the car fast. I don't care how hot it is, I never go on track without fire retardant underwear, suit, and gloves.

I agree, I was just stating earlier that I know numerous clubs that allow Short Sleeve & Shorts!

I have a Cool Shirt System for the Heat!
