Here comes another one
That system in the Yucatan may help to push it to the north and hopefully miss Florida. IDK. I keep seeing the European models predicting a path up the main part of Florida. This one is huge. Time to Batten down the hatches.
Hopefully this one won't hit Florida or Texas. I wish it would hit some uninhabited part of Mexico.
High pressure areas over the US in six days may steer it into the Gulf via Havana.
175 MPH max winds and a well defined eye about 30 miles across...wow.
Hope it doesn't hit you guys in Florida. And we sure don't need it here!!! Guess we will find out by the end of the week.
Best case is it goes out to the Atlantic and dies, but that not looking good at this point.
Wife freaked out when I told her yesterday that Irma was tracking towards the Gulf. She will be evacuating this time.
I will watching and hoping for the best.
I haven't put up my Hurricane boards since 2004. I hope it goes North & misses us!
Yeah I'm right there with you.... but last time I looked 4 out of the 5 computer models had it coming in South Florida .....going right up the state. But I'm pretty confident it's going to get one of us.
It's total chaos in South Florida right now, the storm isn't hit until like this weekend and everywhere is out of water and gas lines were crazy and there is no plywood at any store Panic has set in. I think the media just whips this into a frenzy I understand it's a large storm and people should be prepared but if you watch the media report it on TV ...it's the end of the world.
I've got Food, Water & Beer!
I own a home in fort Lauderdale. And a hime in sarasota......im screwed!
Stopped at four different stores on the way home to get some more water. All were out.
I'm praying you are right
