how rare are 70-73's?

    How many 70 to 73 camaros do you think are left out there?
    I would think that < 1% would be still around.
    Maybe 500 for each state, around 2500 or so.
    Am I even close?

    Nobody knows, but I'd think the numbers are higher than that.

    There are a lot more 70-73 Z28s for sale than that just on Ebay. :)

    alot more than you think. even if over 3/4 were dead it would still be more than 80k of them

    according to nastyz28 i added up how many total from 1970 to73 got built a total#of 398,939 built total.....sounds like alot hmmmm in 1979 alone there was a total of 282,571,,,camaros built ,,,,

    prolly alot more than you think..alot more than 2500 total ..prolly that many in cali..or more..

    If I were to guess I'd say 3% of the total run are still registerd/running, and another 10% of the total run are still around as not running parts/project cars.

    There's two right in my neighborhood. More if you count later 2nd gens.

    Last summer a buddy and I went down to a race, with his 74 Z and my 73 RS
    we figured we have some fairly rare cars. There was 4 other 74 Zeds, and 6 70-73s. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there was 30% still around.
