Bought my 73 Type LT with the Z28 option new.
Now my son owns it. Original motor sits on a stand in the corner of the garage.

    I have Midnight Blue/Black Vinyl Top/Blk Interior 73 R/S LT
    145HP/2bbl with original smog..............

I'm in process of repainting exterior and installing new from bucket seat covers.

I want to flip this 73 Camaro when done

Engine was running at 95K miles. I'm relunctant to not do anything to engine
but dont want to spend my profit installing new hi-perf "something"

Thinking valve job and have my machine shop install rings, bearings
    and call it good.....

Should I keep the smog on it ??? Any "value" in calling it a survivor
    being so low HP ???

this was my 73 lt,,,, I bought a year out of school in 76' it had 53 thousand miles
had a 350 2brl 3 speed. later swapped out carb for 4 brl. and went to turbo 350 trans.
owned it for 10 yrs. Had spoilers added and repainted ,, sold the car to a local owner and
then they sold it and never found out where it went after that,, being a mich. car it was rust free
while I owned it. even had to drive it a few winters,, sure miss that car... never left me stranded on the road,,
