Could anyone give me a length of their hood hinge springs? Mine are missing and I just want to pick up a set of springs at Napa. Just a rough length of unstretched is fine.

These are the ones I need but by the time I get them back to Canada they'll be around $80.00 and I can get them a lot cheaper from Napa haha.

    Thanks in advance.

With my hood all the way open they are slightly stretched at 11 inches to the outside of the hook on my '70. Hope this helps.

Post a WTB in the swap meet section. Between guys with glass hoods and with members parting these cars out, you should be able to get a pair.

Thank you very much guys, I'll check out Napa and see if I can't make something work!

I would buy from someone on the site, but like said shipping to Canada is retarded, along with the current exchange.

Yup, shipping springs out to Alberta gonna be expensive to say the least. You could go on a site like KiJiJi and hope that someone near you has a spring set for you or, maybe hinges with springs for a decent price. Take time to get your pricing with free shipping from the Internet. I was after brake parts and I got what I needed off the Internet with free shipping that was much less costly than from an Auto Parts place less than a mile away from me. Stuff delivered right to door. I am not sayin' everything is like this but.. maybe I got lucky. You guys got snow yet?? Down East here nothing yet..
