Yeah, they suck pretty bad!! I had one on my car,and it wasnt a good fitting piece at all!! You might look at VFN or Harwood.

i have a vfn. it seems like the hood is too short. gaps are off, but i have re-pop fenders, that certainly doesn't help.

Geeze,,,for the money they get for these hoods..
you would think they would fit better,,,
i found their website.. 405.00 for bolt on thats too short.?
i see they also have a fiberglass dash assy for sec. gens,
upper and lower all formed as one.

Thats really not bad at all for a quality glass hood,my Harwood was like $450(4" cowl bolt-on).If u wanna see expensive, check out Anvil hoods!! They're awesome though!!

like i said though i don't know how big of a factor my repo fenders are playing here. i have about a 1/2- 3'4 gap all the way accross.i can easily fit my fingers between the nose and hood.

I bought mine from VFN about 6 years ago, I had no fitting problems and the gaps are the same as my original steel hood. The finish was very good and when painted it is flawless. Make sure you order the light duty springs with hood unless you go with pin on.
