Guess i should add that after i dropped it back down I disconnected the battery and took my Cell phone out of my Pocket. Then i removed the carb and place on table. When i took the bowls off there was no gas in either bowl. Any ideas what happen today?

If the carb sits without driving it, it takes no time with today's chit fuel to evap.

I would send it off to Eric Jackson. He can either rebuild it for you or restore it and replate it. It will look and work like a brand new holley. phone #(937) 836-5927 email address is sales@vintagemusclecarparts.com

Do you think you bumped the hot wire on back of the alternator with the fuel line? If not, pull your negative battery cable and start looking for a wire that has rubbed through somewhere.

When-if you send it to Eric tell him your exact engine setup. Manifolds or headers, engine mods and altitude. He knows his stuff. Not cheap but good. Depending on miles it may need the shafts bushed.

Yes not the cheapest, but the end result is worth it. I have had 5 carbs restored by him. Everyone were perfect in every way.
