I have a 1970 z28 with a 4150 with an aftermarket .28 discharge shooter installed. Car runs great but once in awhile I get a stall when coming to a stop after exiting a highway, etc. When I look down into the carb and open the choke plate, it looks like its hitting the nozzles on the shooter and not opening al the way. I have my stock .25 shooter and the nozzles are not as long. I'd like to change it out but was wondering if a .25 is ok for this carburetor ?

You said you have the stock shooter. Why wouldn’t it be ok? I’m running a 70 Z28 4-spd 4150 List 4555 and all is stock except for the power valves because of my roller cam and using the 25 pump discharge nozzle.
