I have a holley 4 barrel vacuum secondarys and its leaking bad all the way around. I've rebuild it once a long time ago and then stopped using it. I'm thinking its not even worth looking at. Just buy a new carb maybe something else?

Modern gasoline is generally not good on early carb gaskets. You might be able to replace with a current kit and be good to go.

New blue Holley gaskets don’t dry out. Remove both bowls and the mounting plate and using a machinist file, file the part the metering blocks mount to. You’ll be surprised how not true they are. Use oil while filing too. In ‘85 I spent about 1 hr on each side filing. After that it runs like it should.

As said gaskets have dried out and shrunk which is causing seepage . throw another carb kit on it and youll be good
