OK, so finally getting just a little time with the new project. I have this floor pan that came with the car. I don't remember seeing one with the toe curve in it before. I thought they all stopped before the curve upwards. Came from aapsales.com in KY. Is it just my imagination or is this a better pan than other people are selling? Also forgot the first rule of working on an old camaro: don't touch the sticky steering wheel.

I found the difference. The 75-81 stops short of the toe board curve where the 70-74 does not. I bought the 75-81 for my 77. Was not aware of the differences.

Nice project. You going with the original dark blue and black stripes? Original engine?

That is the plan except for the engine. There isn't one. Transmission either. Rear end codes out to be original 3:42 posi though. Thoughts for now are just some kind of crate motor. Not sure around the transmission yet.

Cool project. Even though I've got a '79, I've always liked the early second gens. Looks like all that O/T has paid off.

Everytime I see Pat's thread title the song "Here I go again" by Whitesnake pops in my head

Got a little time on the car this morning while the wife was gone for a check up. White piece between floor and brace looks a little like a build sheet but I'm pretty sure it isn't. Not really sure what it is. Maybe a large flaked off section of paint.
