I need some Help finding a 1974 camaro gas tank sending unit (2 lines). my gauge don't work, and I've kinda narrowed it down to that. I stopped by advance auto parts and in ten days they can get one for a 1976 (74 isn't available) I think 76 is the same. 73 camaro had a 18 gallon tank & 74 had a 21gallon tank. Advance wants $116.00 can I get one sooner and cheaper some where else ?

    thanks

    A word of caution...

The sending unit hole on a 1970 - 73 tank is larger than a 1974+ hole.
So if I list a sending unit for "1970 - 75"... somethings wrong. Cause it won't fit in a 1974 or 5 tank.
The tank changes in 1974, with the trunk floor.

Here's what happenes when you use a 1976+ sending unit with a 1974 line:

I knew this would be the issue prior to getting into it and will "recontour" the fuel lines to be closer to where they both expect each other to be.

I compared the new stuff against my old stuff. The 74 line stops in front of the tank... it doesn't wrap around like depicted in the picture.
