I'm about to finish a heater install on my Camaro. Tomorrow, I just need to drain my radiator, install my hoses, and hopefully "waa laa." Might be a dumb Question, but do I need to put some plumbers tape around the threads of my heater hose fittings/inlets. One to the intake manifold and the other to the water pump? Thanks

Yes. They are pipe thread and need the lubrication of teflon tape or past when you install them.

Use liquid teflon. I personally don't like using the tape
cause it fattens up the threads which could cause the
part your screwing into to crack or snap. It's just too tight
and you may not get enough turns out of the male fitting.
