I just noticed today that my 74 Camaro has a huge warp in the headliner above the driver. If you press on it and hold it, it pops back into place but pops back out once you let off. It feels like a seperate metal backing for the headliner. I’ve been trying to do some research but all I find are instructions for bow type headliner for my year. Any ideas before I take everything apart this weekend? What to look for? Thanks

Mine is warped too. I suspect the cardboard backing got wet and warped.

I did my 78, it had the Perf. Usually the film rots and the vinyl drops. You can make a new backer. I reused mine. I bought a toll of perf from year one at the time $35. It was a while ago. I used the spray in the can, you can get contact in a spray bomb now for $15. Check Ames Perf prod for the both the perf and the backer
