I was trying to sell a complete AC system that I took off a 72 car. But the buyer told me the POA valve was for a later car. So now I am confused. How do I decode these decals on compressor and Suitcase? IMG_0245.JPG IMG_0247.JPG

Looks like a standard Harrison compressor . Went unchanged for a while . The system beyond the compressor is what changed through the years . What does the rest of the system look like ? Newburgh eh ?

IMG_3694.JPG That is a VOA or valve in reciever system that was used in 1974 through about 78 or 9 . The 72 would have a POA / expansion valve system . Here is my poa system . My poa valve is not stock as the system is working and poa valves that sit open or empty are done anyway . The stock poa looks similar .

I was the one who is the buyer he mentioned. Does anyone know if the a/c box itself will be the same for my 1971 Camaro with a POA system? I guess I can't use the evaporator ( he sent me a picture with the 1974 tag on his evaporator), but I do have a new evaporator for a 1971 with POA system. Just want to make sure the a/c box it self is the same??
