    Thanks, I should have started powder coating when I built my 74. Everything hammered grey would have been coated silver hammertone :bowtie:

    Thanks Beau. The camaro is fine, those spots are actually from the power steering pump on my silverado.

    I just spent 3 days reading all the posts in this thread. (Off work for a bit) WHEW! That is some good reading! Better than any manual I have ever used. Thanks for a terrific thread Guy! :)

    WOW, no post since August............shame on me lol

    Did some powder coating under the hood. P/S pump, alternator, brackets and pulleys. Gloss black with alt. chrome. Valve covers will be next.

    Yeah Guy, AUGUST! What the hell?

    Nice work there. Now you need to pull those water pump bolts and boil 'em black oxide. Sure is good to see The Mistress getting dressed for the coming season... :bowtie:

    Well i was thinking it but wasnt gonna say it :crazy:

    So everything looks great Guy. Did you coat the alternator in chrome PC? Any tips for doing the chrome powder? Im going to use it on my serpentine brackets and have never used it before. So tips would be great. -Matt
