    lol...Lets pretend to hit the car with a crow bar. That would leave some dents......They make it look like its unphased

    They actually were hitting it with a crow bar. The "bumper" wasn't made out of steel, so it wouldn't dent like steel.

    I got that book. I'll have to dig it out and read up on it. I think they called it an enduro bumper. May have misspelled that. Reminds me of the AAMCO commercial with the monkey's beating on a tranny with plastic baseball bats.

    Endura is the actual name. I actually remember watching that commercial live back in the day. I'm old....;)

    there use to be a commercial on NASTY.... i believe it was a 70 camaro.... sporting the same innovation..the ENDURA nose.... lol

    That would be the 70 - 73 Camaro RS option:

    The front grille surround was an Endura piece - necessitated by the lack of a bumper to protect the front end.
