I've noticed this green connector that isn't connected to anything - and I can't say for sure if it has ever been hooked up.

Any idea what this goes to?

It is a diagnostic connector if I remember cotrectly. Doesn't plug into anything on the vehicle.

It is used to set the mixture control solenoid duty cycle (dwell). If you are not using the computer anymore than you can remove the whole computer harness.

If you are still using the computer just leave it unplugged. But you will need it to correctly dial in the carb.

So do you just put a jumper in it to mess with the carb (similar to how you unplug the four-wire connector at the distributor to measure/set timing)?

I still have the computer, so I will leave it right where it's at, unplugged.

My memory is fuzzy but I believe you connect a dwell meter to that connector and set the dwell of the mixture control solenoid when the engine is hot and in closed loop operation.
