Good rag joint to get?

    A OEM replacement is perfectly fine. There's really no upgrade for nothing more then fabric and rubber. I also buy new hardware, grade 8 fine thread from a hardware store. I really don't see it as a safety feature to the driver, those things are tough! (I raise the BS flag). Realistically its to minimize vibration to the steering wheel, nothing more.

    Lol.... I'm looking at my set up and (after now almost 20 yearsA) frankly I don't know what I have!

    It's an AGR box alright, but I have a '90 Camaro serpentine system including the PS pump. The lines going to the box don't have any metric adapters on the box, so maybe that implies I got an AGR box for a late model car... who knows...

    I guess I'll have to take it apart to get the rag joint off so I can inspect it...
