Man your car looks great! That's a lot of plumbing you have up top. I've never seen the gas inlets on different sides of the carb bowls like that. I anticipate a need for wheelie bars?

The Holley HP carb has bowl that you can plumb from either or both sides. I switched the front bowl feed to the drivers side for ease of routing the AN line.

I am planning on taking her to the track next weekend.
Scaled her last night and holy crap she's a heavy pig.
It takes a good amount of HP to move this much mass.
Plan on making a few 1/4 motor passes and some 1/8 passes on the juice.

Went to the track and found a weak link. My axles. I had factory resplined axles I knew they were a weak point but I thought they would last longer than three passes.

I finally got the axles I ordered to replace the broken ones.
Took Strange four weeks to get them to me. :(
Now I just gotta get my gears in the center section and I'll be in business again.

Note the difference in size compared to my old ones.
31 spline left, 40 spline pro race right

Got the center section together with the spool and 5.13 gears.
Put the rear together. Those 5/8 studs look big as hell.

Well took the ol' girl for a test drive. Everything is working as it should. No whine from the gears.
And wow! the 5.13 gears sure wake that big block up. Felt pretty good. Was on the street so I couldn't let her loose like I want.
Gotta get her to the track where I can get some time slips to compare to the last go round.

Nope. Didn't sell her. While the car was down putting new axles in. I listed the roller on RJ , testing the waters, curious to see if a deal I couldn't pass up came along. It didn't. So the car is back together and still in MY garage !

Gotta get these babies on soon. Viking coil overs, double adjustable with 450 springs.
Before I go to the track again.
