On the front marker lights which filament is for the turn signal, the brighter or the dimmer filament? Please educate me. I believe the wires are backwards to the sockets. When I have the marker lights on I can barely see the turn signal work because they are on the dim filament. I have checked all the grounds and they are fine.

The brighter filament should be for the signals on the front of the car, and on the rear of the car the brighter one is for the signals and brake.
You might be correct about the wires being wrong, or possibly the bulb being oriented wrong in the socket.

Gary, thanks for the info. Yes the wires are hooked up wrong. The previous owner had cut the wires to the marker lights and both wires are black. When they were Hooked back up they must have reversed them. Problem solved.
