I have 235/60 R15 on the front. I definitely feel/hear it bottoming out as I go through small dips. What was the factory front tire size for a 1980 Z28? I would like to have stock size on front. Thanks!

Factory size for the 80 Z28 was 225/70-15 which are taller and narrower than what you currently have. The 225/70 had clearance problems from the factory and rubbed on most cars. The 235/60 you have is probably a better choice.

There isn’t much room as the car sits. Narrower was my first thought. Stock being taller might still have problems. Thanks Gary for your insight. Much appreciated.

A lot of guys run 245/60-15 on all 4 corners. I had 235/70-15 for years but I had to do some clearincing in the front fender well. What is your spring/shock combo? If it's wore out, time to get into the catalogue.

CorkyE. I’m guessing pretty stock on the spring/shock question. 77k miles and 37 years. Something might be due for replacement. Thanks.
