This is a pretty good De-fragger, plus it's free!! I just optimized all my drives.

    Check it out!

How come you don't like the one built in the OS already??

What does this offer that the stock one doesn't?? Just curious.....

Are you talking about the de-fragger that comes with Vista? Have you tried the Vista De-fragger? The thing is a POS. The GUI is horrible. The second you open it, it starts analyzing your disks without even asking. It has no type of optimizing feature, meaning organizing your most used files first. It has no log to show you the most fragmented files. It has no auto de-frag options.......it just de-frags away.

Do you like the Vista de-fragger?

Oh no....I just assumed it was the same as the XP defrag....which was okay.

But I just DL this for the hell of it and tried it, works good.

The defragger in XP was actually acceptable. The one in Vista is almost like some behind the scenes defragger with not much user control. Like we are too dumb, and don't need to see what's going on.
