Thats odd. My LA trim tag is 02C. the VIN is 505XXX.---mike
so post em
I remember the rh side shot in the yard of where it was (was it the Barstow or Lancaster area?) anyway, if you got em post em ...
I was kind of hoping the new owner would post pictures of his new car. He did state the trim tag was original. I'm not going to post the pictures I have just yet.
Odd to say the least. I have a picture of VIN 500001 and the trim tag associated with that car at the time of the auction in 2006. The trim tag has 02D with a body sequence number of 08103 Hmmm
The starting VIN for February built cars was approx 502996 and the last was 508210.
I am not understanding how you can have that much of a discrepancy. Of course there is a way but I am not opening up that can of worms.
Maybe newyorkvettes can confirm what I posted in regards to build date and body number??
This car has had some interesting sales figures to say the least.
2006 $9000 off ebay. Unrestored
2007 $104,500 Houston Auction. Restored
2010 $41,000 Mecum Auction.
Don't want this to die and get buried like it did the last time the LA number one topic came up.
Waiting for new owner to chime back in.
we are waiting for YOU to post the ebay pictures ...
Man Some One Lost 50 Grand On That Restore , Wow.......
I was thinking that too. I think McDorman gave near $70k for it too.
I like the ex Yunick #1 gray Norwood car better hands down .
