first 1970 camaro

    Thats odd. My LA trim tag is 02C. the VIN is 505XXX.---mike

    I remember the rh side shot in the yard of where it was (was it the Barstow or Lancaster area?) anyway, if you got em post em ... :)

    I was kind of hoping the new owner would post pictures of his new car. He did state the trim tag was original. I'm not going to post the pictures I have just yet.

    Odd to say the least. I have a picture of VIN 500001 and the trim tag associated with that car at the time of the auction in 2006. The trim tag has 02D with a body sequence number of 08103 Hmmm

    The starting VIN for February built cars was approx 502996 and the last was 508210.

    I am not understanding how you can have that much of a discrepancy. Of course there is a way but I am not opening up that can of worms.

    Maybe newyorkvettes can confirm what I posted in regards to build date and body number??

    2006 $9000 off ebay. Unrestored

    2007 $104,500 Houston Auction. Restored

    2010 $41,000 Mecum Auction.

    I was thinking that too. I think McDorman gave near $70k for it too.

    I like the ex Yunick #1 gray Norwood car better hands down .
