Finally got back to the track!
Better axles and 5.13 gears.
Only got two passes in but it was enough tell I'm moving in the right direction.
Time slips are with their respective videos.
Note that I let out early, about 1-2 car lengths before beams.
WOW, 5.13's are frigging high gears. What are you hitting at the lights???
With 33" tires I'm not turning that hard at the trap. Shift a 7K. To be honest, Only got to make the two passes you see last night. Neither time did the shift light come on on the big end, so I was under the 7K.
The car wouldn't charge and I don't have a generator (yet!). The problem was a faulty circuit breaker on the alt. wire. Going to a fuse, this will be done today!

You are moving in the right direction alright, and doing it very quickly! Congratulations! Only gets better from here!
Gonna put the bigger pills in next time. Go from 225 kit to a 400 kit. That should give me a single digit ET.
Good luck, and use the truck between rounds, that's what we did for years when the alt pukes out.
Funny you should say that my truck has dual batteries and I didn't think of it at the time but I could have popped one in the car from the dually and made a couple more passes
