I have a harwood hood i use dzus fastners. I installed 10 fastners. No problems as far as wanting to blow off. Had car over 100 mph multiple times.
Biggest pain is where to put it when you take it off, or if its windy when you do.

I was at the SEMA show when that car debuted with the Karbon Custom hood. I love that hood.

I think I'm going to try Unlimited's stock hood with the pin-on front and bolt-on rear, then graft a '14-'15 SS vent on to it. Unlimited isn't far from me, and everyone wants a ridiculous amount for shipping. Thank you for the info, everyone.

Ask unlimited to do it. And if you are not going to use the stock latch. Then you could put springs just below the hood on the hood pins .Its easier to open the hood that way.

That's a great idea. I'll email them now. The spring idea is a great tip, too. Thank you!

I had an Unlimited Corvette L-88 style hood at one time And that is what I did, But I it was too close to my supercharger .So I went to a 6" cowl hood. And besides a Camaro is alot like a beautiful woman .It looks good in anything, 130044932860518017_26257430996_o (1).jpg

1st, before you do anything, google unlimited fiberglass, it will open your eyes.
Yes, the fan boys will come on and say the new "MANAGER" is better,
but others have dealt with the new "MANAGER" and still got ripped off and a crap product.

The owner is a POS, and has been ripping us off for decades!!!!

2nd, the glass hood with dzuz is perfectly safe if you don't forget them.
6 in front, 4 across the back 2-3 on the sides, 14-16 total is good for 200 MPH plus with a quality hood,
not a POS quality hood with inferior materials.

Anyone else downvote for an Unlimited hood?
