    Sorry to hear that man. I would wash the whole car well in dawn to remove the polish residue. I would scuff with 400 and reshoot. Im sure others will chime in.

    Hey Bob, sorry to hear you are having to go through this. I can only imagine the feeling you have based on how I felt when I had to re-shoot some panels when I was painting. I wanted to punch many holes in many walls. Just think of this as an opportunity to make it even better than before, which I know it will be.

    Looks like doing lots of nice work and great quality time with son.

    My boy and I are redoing my Camaro now, not a full restore just getting car from 28 years of storage.

    Can't wait to see yours done, I bet it will look AMAZING.

    Thanks for the encouragement guys. Its a bummer I have to do it over again. But that was the first time I ever painted a car and I learned what I did wrong on the final stages. This time Ill be more comfortable doing it and know what I have to do.This has just been a set back.:bowtie:

    Well needed something to feel good about seeing I have to repaint. New taillight lens and gaskets[​IMG]
