Want to replace the emission canister on my 1980 Z28 5.7 with A/C, but can't find it anywhere. The ACDelco number is 215-150 but it has been discontinued. Anybody out there know if they have a replacement for it?

    Thanks

Checked with my local NAPA and they have the Echlin brand that fits. If anybody needs one it is part #CRB229805.

I would eliminate the canister all together unless you are in a non-friendly emissions state that checks everything.

Been meaning to get back on here and post. Went to NAPA and was going to buy the NAPA canister but after looking at it saw that it was a lot bigger than the stock one I have. Fortunately found a NOS one on Ebay that fit.

They suck the gas fumes from the gas tank ,and send it to the carb.

    Stole this from another thread.

"year one at the time had a replacement from the grand national, only diff is an extra port on it, but it comes with a cap to block it off even, supp it has charcoal wadding in and no pellets,"
