Just bought a black grille for my 79 .... good price to begin with, and shipping was cheap too.
Gonna call today and cancel my order with SS396.com ... it was on indefinite back order there.

the money goes quick ... I spent $1000 on my $1100 79 in the last 3 weeks.
And it still does not look much different.
Picking up the newly re-upholstered seats today. Can't wait to get them in. this will be the first time that I sat behind the wheel of my new ride. The driver seat was all messed up and I took it out right after it rolled off the trailer.
Now I can sit in it, to install my mint 4-spoke steering wheel.
Then I can get some pics and put it on my progress page finally.

does that mean that SS396.com no good ??? They were just the first ones that I found when I started searching for 2nd gen parts.
I already knew Eckler's because of my 4th gen.
Also discovered Classic Industries, they are on the other side of the country, but they have been good to me so far.
I just discovered NPD today, and will give them a try. I need Dark Carmine interior paint, and they have for $10. Just hope the HazMat shipping fee does not kill me.
