Do the show judges actually look for something like that mount?
In judging the LEGENDS Class at Camaro Nationals I've never seen a
Participant that didn't have what appeared to be original
If that mount has stamped part # it must be unreadable when installed
I would never have guessed that nos mount or good used one is so valuable
Or rare ??????
It was for that buyer Chuck !! lol
90% is 2-3 guys driving up the market when you see hot items, I sold a old fishing lure one time and had 3 people bidding. It was something people were looking at because the make had just passed away. So this 15$ bait sells for 95$ then the winner said he really didn't want it and it was his kid bidding blah blah. No he just got stung with it because the unknown guy stopped bidding at 90$. After a telephone conversation he admitted that he was helping people with a large inventory drive prices up. I reported him, steelpenns???? was his name.
Common with TONS of ebay items!! I hate Ebay.
I sell on eBay and have NEVER had idiots like that but have been accused of doing so many times "it went up at the last second" etc, well DUH... it is an auction and the highest bidder has the bragging rights
The REAL buyers wait until the end and do their battle, rare and desirable things that cover a wide range of applications/years end up going crazy at times, other times they tank, YOU JUST NEVER KNOW
It takes at least two to tango, if only one is on the item it sells for Chinese replacement parts prices :-(
Now that's funny. I bet they were 10 cents back in the day
LOl... Those aren't even battery felts. They go on the bellcrank:
lol. You can still buy these from GM. They cost $3
