    They are the best looking hoods on camaro's IMHO.

    Chris, maybe because I'm old I remember what the Motion cars looked like when new ! LOL Before I bought my new 70 Z/28 I considered buying a Baldwin Motion car.:whine: :whine:

    Yes they are the best, period correct for back in the day builds.
    Had one on my 72 z-28 back in the day, you won't get that much more then you have now, they are only about 2-1/2 " high and you will have to use a drop base on your BBC.
    I have a 3-1/2 " K&N filter and lid on mine and only have 3/4" space from the carb stud to the hood, the extra space is forward on the hood not where the carb/filter sits.
    as for fit, mine is the same as the factory hood was, all depends where you buy it from and the price may dictate the quality. some fit great and some don't.

    Mine is from VFM Fiberglass there are two versions long and short mine is the short,

    If you are having clearance issues look at a different air cleaner top/ lid. I had to change mine as the one I had was to thick. The thinnest top I have found is the cheapie eddlebrock lid.
