Its nice, but I wouldnt say its the best.......lol.
Chris, maybe because I'm old I remember what the Motion cars looked like when new ! LOL Before I bought my new 70 Z/28 I considered buying a Baldwin Motion car.
Haha.Ive been thinking about building an early Camarobird.
Yes they are the best, period correct for back in the day builds.
Had one on my 72 z-28 back in the day, you won't get that much more then you have now, they are only about 2-1/2 " high and you will have to use a drop base on your BBC.
I have a 3-1/2 " K&N filter and lid on mine and only have 3/4" space from the carb stud to the hood, the extra space is forward on the hood not where the carb/filter sits.
as for fit, mine is the same as the factory hood was, all depends where you buy it from and the price may dictate the quality. some fit great and some don't.
Mine is from VFM Fiberglass there are two versions long and short mine is the short,
Old Zeder, You have a PM.
If you are having clearance issues look at a different air cleaner top/ lid. I had to change mine as the one I had was to thick. The thinnest top I have found is the cheapie eddlebrock lid.
^please resseruct this car....
it captured my attention the first time I saw it...
and yeah, I know it was stolen and recovered...
