Hello, I have been working on a 79 Berlinetta on and off for 4 years now and I am doing the rear brakes right now. I had originally bought a hardware kit from Autozone for it but it appears that the self adjusting set up is different on the kit than the actual brakes on the car. I have done a little bit of research and i have noticed that the self adjusting setup on the car resembles the ones on the first gen Camaros. My question is this normal? Should I just buy a self adjusting kit for a first gen since all the ones for the late second gens wont work with it? Thank you for any information that is provided! 27044824_10215385106811150_49651470_n.jpg 27042715_10215385184333088_154694159_n.jpg

That part your holding is not the right one for sure. Missing the foot to the star wheel and the notches for the spring and the little foot for the small spring. Was there multiple pieces in the kit like them? http://www.pbase.com/nufsed/drumbrake
