I can't begin to list the things I've done with a Dremel.

Everything from polishing valve covers (a bit tedious) to carving a shifter knob from a block of cherry wood and carving a gem from a rough stone.

My Dremel must be close to 20 years old by now.
It's gotten a lot of use and would be replaced immediately if it even quits on me.

I used to be a big fan of Dremels until I ran across a Black and Decker RTX on sale one time at a Walmart.
I tend to burn the Dremels out cutting through die cast body's customizing Hot Wheels.

You must build a lot of Hot Wheels!

I'm going to be the odd man out here, but I don't use my Dremel very much at all. I find it's too under powered, too small, etc. I have had one for over 15 years though, but I use air die grinders much more than the dremel.
I have a small IR air die grinder that has the 1/8" and 1/4" collects which can use the small dremel type wheels/stones if needed.

My 4000 burned out in 3 days. I didn't do anything to overwork it, it just quit. I haven't had any problems with my second one, and I use it all the time. Awesome investment.
