Can anyone advise what is the correct door strikers for the 1970 Camaro.? Hex Head? Or, Torx head? If your car is original, I'd appreciate you advising me. Thanks in advance.

+1^ it should also have a loose roller on it for the door latch to catch.

    April build 70 torx head.
Pretty sure never changed. I've owned it since 78 and I've never changed them.

Got this new striker at the Chevy dealer a week ago. Its a #50 Torx just as it was in 1970, however it doesn't have a roller. I haven't tried it yet so I can't say how well it will work (The box is from 1990).

Thanks for the information guys. Much appreciated. For 1970 Camaro it is a Torx head. I have had a number of original cars report this to me. Again, thanks for all your help.
