    - - To short
    - - Very weak hold in the roof rail (edge config is wrong). The original I removed had a good tight fit
    - - door will not close (almost twice as thick as the original). The original being thinner is not the result of compression over the years

Does the box it came in say "OER"? If so, it's the same crap I pulled back off my wife's '71 Z and threw in the trash.

45-50 year old rubber doesn't shrink? Come on...Yes it does. The best weather stripping I have used is Soff Seal. The doors and the trunk are hard to close initially, but over time....Yes they compress and shrink and its a non issue. I'm currently using Metro on the 70 and not that thrilled for being claimed as the best out there. Not to mention it seems the 70 is unique in some of the holes for the tabs.
