I want to get my distributor recurved for a 1978 Z/28. Is there anybody in Charlotte who does that or anybody I can mail it to? Thanks in advance!

Davis unified ignition offers a mail in service, or there's a mom n pop shop here in Texas called California custom garage that used to ship them all over the world.

Thanks. I may buy that cheapo distributor I posted about that you replied to and get it recurved and be done with it.

you can buy a kit and play with it yourself, do you know what kind of curve you want? initial & total and all in by?

Yea seems you really need extra springs for advance curve and a test and tune session on a chassis Dyno or at the drag strip to see what ignition curve works best. I guessed at mine and installed middle of the road Springs last time I put my distributor in. But it's kind of like jets in the carburetor I don't really know the optimum combination without test and tune
