Thats what I was thinking. Go as far as I can. Laying filler and prep is the majority of the process. If i can get it lined up better Ill be happy for now. Wanna do motor but my on loan lift had to leave and just when I was going to use it. Coming back few weeks tho and going in for a revamp

F555A3D8-81C3-41FA-B65E-1614807457F4.jpeg Got new spoilers on. New repos from oer. The middle piece spot on. A perfect repo. The sides not so much. They flares dont overlap as much as originals did. 1/4” compared to 1 .5” on the bottom. I dont know why repo parts arent exactly the same. They always seem to be off somewhere. I also had to reglue the stud style mounts on side flares. Jb weld for plastic worked great and really holds well. They spun loose after few trial fittings. I like the oe style better with the strap and studs bracket but that was anouther mod If I was going to use them.

They are pretty good. Had to drill a few holes for fender screws and brackets but fit like oe except for the flare overlap which shouldnt be a problem. You can almost butt them together for a flat look if wanted.

You think you have issues setting an engine in a 1981 Camaro. My 1979 Z-28 RS has an Fibermotive IMSA nose on mine .I had to take it off to get the engine hoist to fit.But is sure nice to have a new engine in the car.It feels like Christmas .Good luck to you . 130044932860518017_26257430996_o (1).jpg

Why won't You install engine from a side, it is same easy and dont bother about front spoiler/numera as fender is not that far.

    best regards

I did think about a side install. I plan on bolting up transmission to motor Think fronts only way together.
