    Thanks for the advice. I took all the black coating off, sprayed both sides with weld through primer and then welded. I will definitely try to do better on the gaps. Are you supposed to weld right on top of the primer?

    Having trouble getting this to look good. Worked on it with flap disc and angle grinder last night.

    Ordered some parts that I will eventually need for painting. I ordered the center console for the 4 speed since I will be switching to 4 speed from Auto transmission. I plan on using this to help locate where to weld in the 4 speed hump. Since I was ordering I went ahead and got a big order including the front spoiler kit, interior hardware kit, side air extractors. I decided to go z28 look. Looking at the fiberglass hood scoops vs buying a used hood. My hood is in very good shape. Does anyone have experience with the fiberglass hood scoops ( the z28 style)?
