I see there are two designs for the hi/low switch emblem. One has chrome lettering and the other is painted white. Does anyone know which one is factory correct for 1970? Thanks! Tommy

The last '70 Camaro I had came with factory installed rear defrost had white lettering, this car also had the deluxe interior.

Not sure on the chrome lettering, maybe used in later years....here is a pic from that car. This was the cleanest pic I could find.

Looks like white lettering there, for sure. Do you know the production date on this car?

Build date was 06C, so a little later. Would be nice if someone with an earlier car chimed in. How close is your build date to this one?

Here is a link to the car http://www.camaros.ca/1970-z28-blue.html

My 04B Norwood car has chrome lettering. I have another emblem I picked up at a swap meet that had chrome lettering that I painted white to match the rest of the dash's lettering.

This could be one of those mid year changes where Chevrolet/GM was looking for little ways to cut cost so they started eliminating chrome trim pieces. Example being early 70 Camaro's had chrome knobs for seat and headrest adjusters, mid year they went to black plastic.

Scott I was thinking the same thing so glad Dave was able to confirm on his car it has a chrome finish. Tommy given how close these are and your car being May then perhaps the chrome finish would be more appropriate.
