succesfully installed new water pump & clutch fan over weekend. Added coolant, burped & car running fine & temps are right & steady. But I hear a muffled knocking from System when driving. No sound when I turn car off

Double check that fan is tight on hub.

Thank you. Checked-tight. And I guess I didn't listen close enough. It makes this noise after I shut off, but only for about 10 or 12 seconds

Might just be water settling. Might still have a little air in there so, just keep filling radiator if the coolant level drops. I don't think its much to worry over. Many engines make a few (COOL IN MY OPINION!) sounds as they cool down.

Yep, like slayer said, just air working around in the system. It'll work itself out.

They should cook down with no further problems. ;)

You're good because you know to watch the coolant level and temp until they're gone.
