I bought a stock one made by luk. Is this going to handle a 406 with 500hp? He said it was used for big blocks to small blocks ,just making sure before I bolt it up,I'm leary on it . I'm a newbie to all of this and any advice you have I need. I'm using it for a m20 Muncie

I'm using a Luk clutch with a GM TO bearing in my 70 Z28 with no issues.

That's one I have copo,it came as kit. Is a roller pilot bearing that much better?

Swme here, LUK behind my 383. Zero issues, easy install, feels like stock and I hammer it whenever possible.

I think the bronze solid bushing is preffered because if the roller fails it will chew up your input shaft.

I would buy that new Centerforce in the Swap Meet section.

Throw out bearing. Don't use Luk's, it's sloppy and made of of aerospace plastic of some kind.
GM old and new part numbers.
