Clay's 70 Re-Progress Thread

    so are you using orbital sander? Or blasting first then sanding? My 70 has a couple of coats of paint, and I tried sanding a small section with 80 on orbital, and it took forever!! Im curious what your using and what grit? Im looking into blasting the entire car, too much work in sanding.

    Maybe you should upgrade to that giga-grit stuff... I hear its much faster :)

    Finally tore apart my 300ZX seats, getting ready for the upholstery shop. I'll have to redye the plastic parts black.
    Plus now they are in smaller pieces and easier to store!!

    I mocked up the fuel gauge in the ashtray, not sure if i like it.

    Picked up a set of power window doors for cheap to strip the power stuff out of. Both motors work!!
