a couple days ago i watched two guys garage and they showed how to clean your windshield using a claybar .well today i tried it on my camaro and all i can say is wow !!! ..... the windshield looks like it's invisible it is so clean . i used the turtle wax claybar kit and with the detail spray i worked in the claybar all over the windshield it small sections just like if your were on your paint .after the claybar i applied some detail spray with wax and the windshield is so clean i've never seen it like this

soapy water and extreemly fine steel wool on glass does the same but buch quicker. just make sure not to use the steel wool on your paint.;)

make sure to give he windshield a good coat of wax too. :bowtie:

I have also found that once the windshield is well cleaned, buy new wipers and and fillup with Rain-X washer fluid and they will work with no streaking for a very long time.

    LOL @ Mikey.

New wipers and RainX in the washer bucket = good set up.

Thanks for the tip. Tried it on my Nissan Armada's rear window last night and your right...never been clearer! Didn't take long either. The clay bar was really dirty when I was done, and that was AFTER I cleaned it first with Invisible Glass!

yes it should if it's rubber transfer from the wiper blade................ if you want to feel how rough your windshield is place your hands in a sandwich baggie and move you had across the windshield and you can feel/hear all of the debris on the glass surface .after using the claybar use the baggie again and it will be very smooth
